An exhibition of newly commissioned contemporary art exploring the idea of discarded objects being given a new meaning by the artist.
The Milgi Gallery invited artists to creatively respond to the junk dumped on Northcote Lane to raise awareness of the enormity of rubbish as a modern condition. The works will explore the idea of reinventing and adapting abandoned objects that would otherwise be considered superfluous.
For this exhibition i took a wooden flat that had been left for dead: i wanted to breathe new life into it. The work i submitted is called "Letting go of certainties", a piece about progression & creativity. It was the first time that i had experimented with both UV paints and lighting.
Above are the pictures taken by my good friend James Morgan-Rees of Cardiffoto.

Art or Rubbish was part of the Made In Roath Art festival Oct 14-16th
